Who we are

This site is operated by the artist trading as Dave Sharp. Contact: hello@davesharp.art.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to complete and fulfil your purchase:

• Name, email, and shipping address (collected by Stripe at checkout)
• Payment information (handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card details)
• Communications you send us by email
• Your email address and first name if you join the “new work first” mailing list. We use it only to tell you about new paintings and auctions; every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete you at any time.
• Details submitted through the commission request form on davesharp.art, which this site’s mail service delivers — name, email, phone, the size and subject you have in mind, any notes, and any reference image attached. These are emailed to the studio (and a copy to you) so Dave can reply with a quote; they are not stored on the site.

How we use it

To process your purchase, ship your piece, communicate with you about your order, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Third parties

We use the following services:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare — site hosting
• Sanity — content management
• Resend — transactional email and the mailing list
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-first page statistics. It uses no cookies and no fingerprinting and does not identify you; it only tells us which pages are visited and how the site performs.

Each operates under their own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@davesharp.art to exercise these rights.
